To use the ASMOKE Essential pellet grill, follow these steps:
1. Open the carton, remove the grill, rotate the upper lid latch to unlock, and take out the accessories.
2. Install the four support legs and the ash tray (use No. 4 screws for the legs and No. 3 screws for the ash tray).
3. Insert the ash tray and place the water pan (the water pan is used for adding beverages or wine to enhance the flavor of the barbecue).
4. Attach the mica gasket to the handle: first, stick the double-sided adhesive tape to the handle, then attach the mica gasket, ensuring it is pressed firmly to avoid detachment.
5. Install the upper lid handle (use No. 2 screws).
6. Fit the lower section of the hopper into the upper section and push it firmly until you hear a "click" sound. Check whether the two spring protrusions are properly engaged. (For storage, press the two spring tabs simultaneously and push the lower hopper section towards the upper section to fold it into a smaller size.)
7. Install the hopper bracket (use No. 1 screws).
8. Remove the pellet blocker plate.
9. Attach the hopper to the feeding port on the left side of the grill (ensure the two slots are properly engaged, and insert the hopper bracket into the slot of side handle).
10. Place the flame broiler plate, cooking grid and the upper cooking rack (the flame broiler slider can slide left and right to switch grilling functions).
11. Check the placement of the oil tray.
12. Insert the battery and press the button to check the power level (when you receive the battery for the first time, press the button for 1 second to activate it).
13. Open the hopper's pellet blocker plate, pour in the pellet fuel, and close the hopper lid securely.
14. Insert the meat probe into the thickest part of the food being grilled and plug the connector into the panel socket.
15. When using pellets from other brands, place the iron spacer into the combustion chamber (ensure proper placement).
• Priming the Feed System for Initial Use
After installation and adding the pellets, for the first use of the grill or when the feed tube is empty, you can manually feed pellets by pressing the "PRIME" button until the feed tube is fully loaded (It usually takes 1 minute when the the feed tube is completely empty). Then, set the desired temperature to initiate the automatic ignition process. This reduces ignition time and ensures safe combustion. Before the first grilling session, it is recommended to pre-burn the grill at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes.
• Refrain from Manual Refueling During Cooking
Once the hopper is installed, fuel has been added, and the cooking process has begun, do not manually feed the pellet in the burn pot. This precaution prevents disruption of the ignition system and temperature control mechanisms.
• Automatic Safety Shutdown at 300°C (575°F)
Once cooking begins, you should not manually add fuel to avoid interference with the ignition and temperature control modules. If the grill temperature reaches 300°C (575°F), the system will automatically stop to protect the components and ensure safety.
• Recommended Fuel Type
It is recommended to use wood pellets instead of charcoal pellets.
The supported fast-charging protocols for the battery include: Samsung 5V-2A, QC-3.0 (3.6V–12.2V), QC-2.0 (9V–12V), QC4+, DCP-1.5A, and PD3.0.
The device supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Please connect it to a Wi-Fi network and update it to the latest version before use to ensure the best experience.
To accommodate different usage conditions, we provide you with iron plates and metal plates. The iron plates adapt to different brands of pellets, while the metal plates are used during camping to install on the machine and hopper to prevent pellet leakage.
