AS300 Grill
Love the grill so much I have two, one at home and one in the motor home!

Love them
This is my second asmoke grill! The first one I used for 3 months cooking at my work location and one of my buddies liked it so much he bought it right there for the same price to replace it brand new and I bought a new one to cook for more friends interested in buying a suit case smoker so I can show them it’s as good or better that the others

Our experience so far on our AS300
We have used our AS300 several times. Temp varies most of the time., Other than that quite pleased with it.

Love the grill
I had bought as300 awhile back and they emailed me that it was out stock after my purchase. The 180 low setting has gone to to above 250 numerous times thus far. Did beef jerkey and it was overdone due to it not being low enough. I love the unit and colors and portability just a little concerned about the cooking sensor and temp fluctuations. If they replace it will it be the same temperature fluctuation? I get 10 to 15 degrees but not that much. One start deducted for that but love the unit otherwise wise.

AS300 review, temp issue present.
Overall a good experience, however I suspect a design issue which seems as though it might have been improved on the AS350 model. I did my initial burn-in in the morning, about 65-70 degrees outside. After the startup process in the smoke setting, I bumped the temp to 450 and closed the lid. I let it burn in for 1 hour. After that, I decided to cook some burger patties to give it a try. I used 1/4 lb frozen patties, which I have cooked on other grills as well as my oven broiler, never a problem. I set the temp back to 450 and left the diffuser closed, as I wanted to try indirect cooking to get some smoke flavor. The AS300 did cook the burgers, but the time it took seemed a bit long, so I did some experimenting. I put the meat probe that came with the smoker on the upper cooking grate and cranked it up to 450 again. What I found was, the built in temp probe showed about 85 deg F. higher than the meat probe in the cooking area. Upon inspecting the probe, I noticed that it's way down at the edge of the heat diffuser, actually below the top of the diffuser, not up in the cooking area. What this makes me think is, there will always be high temp heat from the burner reaching the probe, no matter what the cooking area temp is. I have spoken with an owner of an AS350 and he sent a pic of the probe on his, it's up near the bottom of the cooking grate, not below the diffuser. He says his is always within 10-15 deg F. of the set temp, which makes sense. I have a full sized pellet smoker for home use, made by Camp Chef and I love it, it works flawlessly. I looked at it and the temp probe is way up in the cooking area, where it seems it should be. Had the AS300 been made with the probe in a better location, that would more accurately reflect the cooking temp, I would likely have rated it 5 stars instead of 4. I can't give it 5 starts since it won't cook accurately right out of the box as I expected it to. I ended up buying a 4 zone wireless temp monitor that I will use to monitor the cooking area temperature instead of the built in probe.
